my work continues to be accepted throughout the bay area, it's on view at Bayshore Studios in San Francisco through May and, during February at Frank Bette Center for the Arts in Alameda. i've taken the big step and i'm renting studio space at Firehouse North and likely will start showing with them in the spring.

welcome to beta version 3.1 of the daydreaming arts website. this version includes some amazing behind the scenes work effecting the layout. i dug deep into the workings of CSS2 to get a layout that is both standards compliant and accessible. just this morning i fixed a cross browser glitch which affected every page of the site with one small change in the CSS!

we've improved upon the galleries. on the about us page i've updated my artists statement and CV to include my activities in 2009. i've included access to the oldies but goldies an the archives section. we will be adding an "our store" with access to some fun products at zazzle and a coffee table book at i forget the name of the site.

i still have to dig into the workings of the slideshow. i know that it's possible to change the speed of the show and the appearance of the controller and captions. likely i won't get to that until i get back from the hospital. feel freeto e-mail me if you are curious about that. i will be continuing computer based work until i'm able to set up my new studio where i plan to do alot of mixed media!

please feel free to contact us with comments about the functionality of the site. all the XHTML and CSS pages were hand coded by me, and i doubt i've caught all the miss rendering of IE and other non compliant browsers. the slideshow feature is a free, open source combo of CSS (which i understand) and javascript (which i don't get at all). so i'm open to guidance for any of you techies.
